Premarital counseling

In one of our many training sessions, through our partnership with Sweeping Ministries Church in Nkulumane, we held our first joint premarital counseling for young adults, with their parents offering a supportive role during the sessions.
Topics covered included

1. Are you in love?
2. Sex
3. HIV and AIDS
4. Expectations

These topics are normally difficult issues for young people to discuss with their parents.
At the end of the seminar parents and the young adults agreed to freely discuss their true feelings at home because the seminar helped them to open up and be realistic.
