Mainstreaming Psychosocial Support
Many organisations that seek to help children access education largely just pay school fees
for the kids. Frontline goes a step further to attend to all the needs of the child in a holistic approach which includes;
· Psychosocial Support (PSS) for all
children on the education support
programme
· Short to medium term assistance
with school fees to cover the children
while awaiting maturity of their
Income Generation Projects
· Income Generation Projects for
beneficiaries on the scholarship fund
to foster self-sustenance and remove
dependence.
· Life skills training to prepare children
for autonomy
Vocational Training and Skills Development
Post secondary school beneficiaries are equipped with skills in vocations they can put to immediate use to help them earn a living.Emphasis is on vocations that support their IGPs and skills they can use within their without having to leave home looking for a job. Information and Communication Technology training is also part of the training package. Sporting disciplines have also been incorporated into skills development as a means of helping youths break into a sporting career as well as to keep fit and keep away from idleness.
